Ana is the artist behind Chabela Art Studio, where she brings beloved pets to life through custom watercolor and acrylic portraits. With an expressive, intuitive approach, Ana blends design principles with fine art techniques to create vibrant, heartfelt pieces that capture the unique spirit of each animal.

 

Over the years, she’s built a multifaceted creative career spanning illustration, graphic design, textile design, and art direction. She has led in-house creative teams on national campaigns and served as creative director of a textile studio, where she developed seasonal home collections for major retail markets.

In 2024, Ana stepped away from the corporate world to focus fully on painting and teaching. Through Chabela Art Studio, she now channels her creativity into hand-painted portraits, wood ornaments, ceramic coasters, greeting cards, and personalized gifts—all made with care to bring warmth and joy into everyday spaces.

Ana also shares her passion through workshops and events across Northern Virginia, helping aspiring artists of all levels build confidence, explore creativity, and connect through the joy of making art.
